Introducing The Women In Soccer Summit and US Disability Soccer Month

Making soccer accessible to all participants regardless of gender and ability are core components of what we do at Cal North.

Since our inception in 1969 our mission has been to make soccer the preeminent game in California, and this includes bringing the game to all communities including those who are disabled and underrepresented. We hope to encourage you to participate in two amazing opportunities this month, (1) The Women In Soccer Summit and (2) US Disability Soccer Month. Both events are free and interactive.

      Women In Soccer Summit

With the success of the Women’s National Team we have seen a surge in interest in the game as well as how the game of soccer can be used to build, empower and strengthen women. This multi day program is free and open to the public. Speaker presentations will begin December 4th and continue on the 7th through the 11th. For more information and to register visit America Scores Bay Area’s website

The Women in Soccer Summit will feature a diverse group of leaders that will present on a variety of important subjects. Whether you are an experienced coach, or a new soccer player, this is an event you won’t want to miss. It’s a rare opportunity to hear directly from women, such as Brandi Chastain, Julie Foudy, and many many more. Check out the full line up of speakers and subjects

      US Disability Soccer Month

TOPSoccer is one of our most cherished programs. The Outreach Program for Soccer is a community based soccer program designed for players with disabilities. Players participate regardless of age or ability. We encourage everyone who is interested in TOPSoccer or who is actively running TOPSoccer programs in their communities to participate in US Disability Soccer Month.

US Disability Soccer Month was created to celebrate the programs and member organizations who support athletes with disabilities and their families. Join US Soccer's interactive celebration this December 13th at 12 PM Pacific via Zoom.

This is a free event and space is limited, so make sure you sign up soon!
