      Recommendation Process

All players wishing to play ODP at this level must be identified and recommended to attend tryouts by the player’s team coach, Director of Coaching (DOC) or Technical Director (TD), from their club/league. After you register, please forward the link below to the appropriate person to complete your recommendation. Please make sure you read the exemption portion carefully. It is highly recommended that you confirm with the appropriate person who is going to recommend you for tryouts, BEFORE YOU REGISTER.

Lack of a recommendation is not a basis for a refund.

      Refund Policy

There is NO registration refund after July 1st. Because the tryout process is open for 3 months a refund/credit for an injury will be considered, based on the following criteria: Refunds for injuries will require a medical letter from the treating Physician, and must state in the letter that the player is “unable to play soccer” due to the stated injury through September 7th (the last tryout). Please submit this letter to the Cal North office, within 3 working days of the injury to begin the refund process. Refunds for injuries (or any portion of the tryout fee) will not be issued if a player has already participated in a tryout session. Because ODP tryouts require a coach recommendation, it is highly recommended that you check with the coach recommending you, PRIOR to signing up and confirm that they completed your recommendation. There is no refund for those who register and fail to gain the required recommendation prior to tryouts. Insure you will be recommended, BEFORE you register.

      Concussion Policy

Any player that has been suspected of or being treated for a concussion must follow the Cal North Concussion Protocol Policy set forth by the Cal North BOD via Heads Up. No exceptions. https://www.calnorth.org/health-safety-
      protocols

      Player Check-In

All players need to check-in at the event desk to get their tryout jerseys, which will have your tryout number. As you will be EXPECTED to use these jerseys/numbers at all the dates you attend.

THIS WILL BE YOUR ASSIGNED NUMBER FOR THE SEASON.

DO NOT LOSE OR GIVE AWAY YOUR TRYOUT JERSEY AS YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE JERSEYS IN THE COMING SEASON FOR TRAVEL IF YOU MAKE THE POOL.

Do not bring and use your tryout jerseys’ from last year, as your tryout number changes each year. If you lose a jersey, both will need to be replaced at a cost. Be responsible. After you have received your tryout number, you will proceed to the assigned field location for your age/gender. After your first tryout, you will return to the same location assigned for your age/gender and be ready to play at the appropriate times posted. If field assignments change, you will be notified.

DO NOT LOSE OR GIVE AWAY YOUR JERSEYS!!!

      Absences

If you know you will be missing one of the Sessions, please fill out the absent form below. This will help us pass on that information to the Head Coaches and they can plan on seeing you on another date. If you complete the form and plans change you are welcomed to just show up.
