District Rec Cup (recreational)

District Cup (competitive)

This tournament is open to all competitive teams & recreational teams (Rec Cups)  that play in a Cal North or other US Soccer approved playing league.

Approved playing leagues are leagues affiliated through US Soccer, including but not limited to MLS NEXT, MLS NEXT Academy, Girls Academy (GA), ECNL, ECNL-RL, Elite Academy League (EA), NorCal Premier League, AYSO, SAY Soccer, as well as Cal North District Playing Leagues. Teams are considered for placement in brackets based on their eligibility and by application date until brackets are filled. Teams may apply to participate in this tournament by submitting an application online. 

If needed, Cal North can guide you through the registration process.

8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, 18U and 19U age groups.

The following Districts will be hosting District Cups in 2026/2027. 

District 2 Cup
Date: October 10-11, 2026
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Details: D2 Cup will be hosted on October 10 & 11, 2026 at Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center in Morgan Hill, CA. This tournament is a qualifier for the Cal North State Cup (U8-U12) and Cal North State Cup (U13-U19). Open to Competitive  teams only.
Registration closes Sunday, Sept 6, 2026 at midnight

District 2 Rec Cup
Date: November 7-8, 2026
Location: Milpitas, CA 
Details: This event will be taking place November 7 & 8, 2026 in Milpitas, CA at the Milpitas Sports Complex, Cardoza Park, and Hall Park. Teams will play a minimum of 3 games with the possibility of a 4th. Awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place teams. Open to Recreational teams only. 
Deadline to register: October 11, 2026 at midnight

District 5 Rec Cup
Date: November 7-8, 2025
Location: Petaluma, CA
Details: District 5 Rec Cup will be taking place November 7 & 8, 2026 at Petaluma Community Sports Fields in Petaluma, CA. Teams will play at least 3 games with the possibility of a 4th. 1st and 2nd place medals, 1st place teams will take home a large team trophy. All participants will receive a commemorative participation pin! We will have a soccer village featuring local ‘Farm to Fork’ food trucks and vendors. Open to Recreational teams only. 
Registration Deadline: October 9, 2026 at midnight
