You're Invited: Open Training Session with the Paraguayan National Soccer Team

SAN JOSE, Calif.  (June 5, 2026) - World Cup Fans, San José State University is proud to serve as the official Team Base Camp for the Paraguayan national soccer team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. To celebrate Team Paraguay’s arrival in San José and at SJSU, team Paraguay will host a special open practice at SJSU's South Campus on Monday, June 8, giving members of our campus community and beyond a chance to see the team train, experience the energy surrounding the World Cup and help extend a warm Spartan welcome during their time on campus. We invite you to join us for this FREE one-of-a-kind experience!

This is more than an opportunity to watch a world-class team train. It is a chance to help extend a San José and Spartan welcome to our international guests and to celebrate the role SJSU is playing in one of the largest sporting events in the world. Following practice, attendees will have an opportunity to take photos and collect autographs from Team Paraguay players and staff.

Paid parking is available at the SJSU Park & Ride lot at 7th Street and Humboldt, located directly across from the Spartan Sports Complex. Address is: 350 E Humboldt St #300, San Jose, CA 95112. The 10th Street garage will not be available.
