Founders' Cup Presented by Raley's

Specifically designed for Cal North U14-U19 Recreational-level teams!

Founders' Cup is Cal North's Recreational State Cup event and operates in a tournament-style format and is open to all U14-U19 registered teams that compete in a northern California recreational playing league.  Approved recreational playing leagues may include in-house leagues, and district playing leagues. 

Founders' Cup hosts brackets in the U14, U16 and U19 age groups for boys and girls. Teams are considered for placement on their eligibility and their application date until brackets are filled.

Level Of Play

Recreational Teams Only. Recreational teams can NOT be formed by a tryout process or put together as an all-star team.

Open To

Recreational teams that played in a recreational playing league and whose players and coaches are registered with Cal North and on an approved Cal North roster.

Age Groups

Under 14, Under 16 and Under 19 Boys and Girls.

Guest Players

Teams can have a maximum of 22 players in their player pool for the weekend(s) of the tournament. This includes up to five guest players from other Cal North recreational teams when properly submitted on the Founders’ Cup Guest Player Form.

Cherry Island Soccer Complex or other Northern CA venues to be announced.

Application Deadline

ALL ages:
 November 8, 2021, or until brackets are filled, whichever comes first.

Brackets will be filled on a first-applied, first-accepted basis once an online registration and payment in full have been received at the Cal North office.
