Recap: 2026 Cal North AGM presented by GotSport

      MANTECA, Calif. (April 19, 2026) - The 2026 Cal North Annual General Meeting brought together Cal North members, league leaders, club representatives, and soccer stakeholders from across Northern California on April 19 in Manteca for a full day focused on governance, education, collaboration, and the future of the game.

      Hosted at the Great Wolf Lodge, the AGM featured speakers, official voting sessions, organizational reports, bylaw discussions, legislation updates,  educational workshops, and presentations from soccer leaders and industry partners. Members reviewed updates from Cal North leadership, including reports from the President, Executive Director and  District Commissioners, while affiliated organizations participated in discussions shaping the future direction of youth soccer in Northern California.

      This year’s AGM also emphasized education and innovation within the game, featuring breakout sessions on club management, league operations, referee pathways, MLS NEXT, and technology updates from GotSport. The event created opportunities for networking, collaboration, and sharing best practices among leagues, clubs, administrators, and soccer leaders throughout the region.

      Results from the four (4) bylaw change proposal:

      1) 1:03 PASSED

      2) 5:03 DID NOT PASS

      3) Proposed: Cal North Bylaws DID NOT PASS

      4) Article IV: Membership DID NOT PASS

      With 2026 expected to be a landmark year for soccer in the United States, the AGM reinforced Cal North’s commitment to growing the game, supporting its members, and continuing to elevate opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and communities across Northern California.
