SportsLab360: Transition from Attacking to Defending

Written by Cal North Soccer | Dec 31, 2020 2:00:00 PM

This month's theme is on transitioning from attacking to defending. It will be available through the month of December exclusively to Cal North members at no cost.

We are constantly looking for new and valuable content and resources. Our partnership with SportsLab360 has helped us in that effort. Each month, in partnership with SportsLab360, we provide an accessible, practical, organized, and easy to-use program that is focused entirely on tactical development.

Here's how it works:
Assign the SportsLab360 modules to your team and players, customize the content to suit your style of play, track the scoring of your players, and even tap into the library of session plans that they offer.

January's tactical theme focuses on transitioning from attacking to defending. There are 4 phases of play in soccer: Defending, attacking, transition to defense, and transition to attack. The few seconds that go along with a transition are key success factors for any player and any team.

In this module, we will explore the transition to defense, and will look at some of the most important concepts to think about when executing this transition.

As always, the module concludes with a quiz to challenge your Soccer IQ and review what you have learned.

Here are two available modules you can share with teams this month:

11 v 11
