SportsLab360: Attacking Runs

Written by Cal North Soccer | Jul 31, 2020 1:00:00 PM

This month's theme takes focus on attacking runs. It will be available through the month of August exclusively to Cal North members at no cost.

In our ongoing and continued effort to bring you valuable content, we've partnered with SportsLab360 to bring you a new player development module each month. SportsLab360 provides an accessible, practical, organized, and easy to-use program that is focused entirely on tactical development.

"I highly encourage all coaches to experience this great learning tool with their players this month! The user friendly platform allows players to learn tactics in a fun way during a time when teaching tactics is virtually impossible with the current COVID restrictions." - Kevin Crow, Cal North Technical Director

Here's how it works:
Assign the SportsLab360 modules to your team and players, customize the content to suit your style of play, track the scoring of your players, and even tap into the library of session plans that they offer.

As a soccer player, understanding how and when to make dangerous runs forward is a necessity for any position. In working through this module, you will learn about four different types of runs you can make. You will learn what they are, how to recognize cues to make them, and of course how to properly execute them. The module concludes with a quiz to test your Soccer IQ and challenge your teammates!

Here are two available modules you can share with teams this month:

9 v 9
11 v 11
