SACRAMENTO, Calif. ― Cal North is honored to announce Pete Zopfi and Kevin Crow as the 2025 Cal North Hall of Fame Inductees. The Cal North Hall of Fame honors those individuals who have made outstanding contributions to youth soccer throughout the years as a player, coach, referee, administrator, or worthy participant in other youth soccer-related activities. These individuals have shaped & impacted soccer in Northern California.
Pete Zopfi is recognized for more than four decades of involvement in youth soccer as a coach, administrator, and national leader. He has held coaching licenses up to the USSF “A” level and served as head coach at the club, high school, and Olympic Development Program levels. Zopfi's administrative service has included roles as Chairman of Cal North/CYSA, Chairman of US Youth Soccer, and U.S. Soccer Board Member.
Kevin Crow, recipient of the 2025 Player Award, is a former U.S. Men’s National Team defender (1983–1988) and two-time Olympian (1984, 1988). He was also an eight-time champion and All-Star with the San Diego Sockers. Crow later served as Executive and Technical Director of Ballistic United Soccer Club, Director of Player Development and Competitions for Cal North, and held leadership roles in various other youth and professional soccer organizations.
Their legacies will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20th, during Cal North’s third annual Hall of Fame Night at PayPal Park, home of the San Jose Earthquakes. The Earthquakes will face St. Louis City SC, with kickoff at 7:30 PM.
