NORTHERN CALIFORNIA (July 14, 2026)― Four teams will represent Cal North at the 2026 US Youth Soccer National Championships in both Utah and Tennessee from July 13-23. These teams earned their place on the national stage through the Cal North State Cup and will now face off against the best teams in the country in the most prestigious youth soccer championship.
For the first time, US Youth Soccer has implemented a direct path to Nationals for the 2025-2026 season. The updated pathway gives every State Cup Champion and National League winners a direct route to the National Championships, ensuring representation from all 54 U.S. Soccer member associations. By eliminating the regional competition layer, it reduces travel costs and time commitments while creating a true national celebration featuring the top teams from every state.
The U16-U19 age groups will play from July 13-20, while U13-U15 age groups will play from July 16-23. Girls National Championships will be taking place in Murfreesboro and Smyrna, Tennessee while the Boys National Championships will be taking place in Salt Lake City and Provo, Utah.
The four teams representing Cal North at the National Championships are AC Marin 2013 Girls from Marin, CA and Sigma X FC 13 Elite Boys from Visalia, CA, both in the U13 age groups. Also from the Central Valley is Valley United Valley United 2011 Boys Orange from Fresno, CA in the U15 Boys age group. Giving it one last run is Tahuichi F.C. Youth Soccer 2008/07 Boys from Santa Rosa, CA competing in the U18/U19 Boys Super Group.

Cal North is the original youth soccer organization in Northern California, who has served generations of players, coaches, leagues, and clubs with storied histories since 1969.
