SACRAMENTO, Calif. (October 9, 2025) - U.S. Soccer has officially sanctioned the Cal North Olympic Development Program for the 2025-2026 season as Soccer Talent Development Program.
This sanctioning is for states that apply and meet certain criteria set by U.S. Soccer, providing evidence, program standards, and history of developing soccer players at all levels. It is important to mention that Cal North Olympic Development Program (ODP) is the only sanctioned & recognized Soccer Talent Development Program in Northern California by U.S. Soccer.
US Youth Soccer and U.S. Soccer have worked together to evolve this sanctioning process, with the
goal of improving quality and standards of the program over time.
This sanctioning has been granted to Cal North ODP by U.S. Soccer for over 50 years, making Cal North the preeminent youth soccer organization in Northern California since 1969.
