The purpose of Cal North’s EDP in Elk Grove Ca. April 14 was to provide attendees with exposure to College Coaches, their methods of instruction and technical and tactical advice for player development. The environment tested the players decision making capabilities in pressure situations. The college coaches were on hand to guided the player with tactical solutions. Players attending the event mentioned extra touches on the ball, exposure to college coaches, an opportunity to train with other elite players as reasons they choose to attend the event.

Boys Coaches at the event were: Felipe Restrepo (Cal State Univ. Chico, Head Coach), Jason Hotling (UC Davis, Assistant Coach), Paul Sapsford (DoC, Cal North & former Stanford coach), Carlos Menjivar (DoC, Cal North). Players attended from San Jose, Fresno, San Francisco, and the surrounding Sacramento valley.
Girls Coaches included: Gabe Bolton (Cal State Stanislaus, Head Coach), Kris Hall (Univ. of Pacific, Assistant Coach), Paul Sapsford (DoC, Cal North & former Stanford coach), Zlatan Sahmanovic (Cal State East Bay, Assistant Coach)). Girls from San Jose, Chico, Vacaville, and Walnut Creek joined the local players in an beautiful afternoon of training .
