Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Pop-up Blocker helps to block some unwanted pop-up windows from appearing without blocking the pop-up windows you deliberately launch. Pop-up Blocker is turned on by default. Some additional software and/or toolbars you might have installed on your computer could also have pop-up blockers (like Yahoo! toolbar, Google toolbar, Norton, McAfee, Popup Swatter, etc.). We have included some instructions on disabling the IE Pop-up Blocker for your reference.
In order for the LeagueOne application to run successfully on your computer, you must allow pop-ups from our site.
*** As a short term solution, most pop-up blockers are temporarily disabled if you press the CTRL key while you click the Logon button (and any other action buttons within the application) ***
Allow pop-ups from LeagueOne.com only
To add "leagueone.com" to the list of sites you accept pop-up windows from:
- Open your Internet Explorer browser
- Choose Tools, then Pop-up Blocker, then Pop-up Blocker Settings
- In the Address of Web site to allow: field, type "leagueone.com"
- Click the Add button and you will be able to successfully run the application
Allow pop-ups from all websites (including LeagueOne.com)
In the event that you would like to allow pop-ups from all websites (including LeagueOne.com), you can completely disable the Pop-up Blocker by following the steps below:
- Click the Tools button, and then click the Pop-up Blocker option
- Click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker
Please see Microsoft’s on-line Help for more information about the Pop-up Blocker features in Internet Explorer 7.0
What if it still doesn’t work?
If you have disabled the pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer but still cannot logon, you may have more than one pop-up blocker on your computer. Do you have any of the following programs installed?
- Norton
- McAfee
- Yahoo! toolbar
- Google toolbar
- Popup Swatter
- Etc.
Each of these programs may have an additional pop-up blocker associated with it, and could prevent the Logon window (and other windows in LeagueOne) from opening and/or working properly. Please refer to the help documentation for your program(s) for assistance on disabling its pop-up blocker.
Again, as a short term solution, most pop-up blockers are temporarily disabled if you press the CTRL key while you click on the action button.
